JACKSONVILLE WEDDING FLORIST

Every once in awhile I like to help other vendors out.  You know, see what it is like to walk in their shoes for a day or two.  This more often than not leads to a whole new respect for their industry.

This weekend I had the honor of working with Special Arrangements by Joanne.  They have been creating stunning floral arrangements for over 25 years. This company truly provides the highest quality flowers, service, and design in the Jacksonville, FL area.

The wedding I assisted with was held at the prestigious The Garden Club of Jacksonville.
This venue is a large open blank canvas just waiting to be painted. Here are some images the we took showing Special Arrangements creativity.

Here are a few tips to ask when interviewing florists:

1) How long have you been in business?  Do you have formal training in floral design?
Make sure that the person you choose is qualified to design your florals.  Some people
just decide to become a florist without any formal training in this area.

2) Who will be in charge of my wedding florals?  Who will set up my florals?
Make sure that the florist you hire is the one who will be designing the arrangements.
Sometimes there are other people hired for design.  If this is the case you want to be
aware of this in advance.  If other people are hired to help with the design will your         florist be overseeing the design?  If the florist is not the person who will be doing set
up do you need to hire a planner to do this or can you pay an additional fee for the
    florist to set up?

3)  How many weddings do you accept on one day?  You do not want a florist who is
stretched to the limit.  This can result in the florist not having time to pay attention
to the details if your florals.

4)  Are there any fees that are not included in your contracted price?  You don't want any
surprises after you think your order is paid for.
